Solstice
A hundred and fifty years ago Aro thought he found a diamond in the rough, a vampire with a special ability to learn and mimic some vampires abilities, unfortunately for him, she did not cooperate as he expected. To kill her would mean to waste such a special gift, to exile her and remove her source of power, that was something he could work with. Nevertheless she would need somebody to protect her and care for her, considering how incapacitated she would be. A soldier that likes to follow the rules, that believes in the Volturi's ideal was appointed. But Aro never took into account the soldier falling for the vampire. Time would erase his memory regarding that vampire and soldier…until…those annoying little Cullen's started to get in the way. The Volturi credibility has declined after the last confrontation
with them.
How far is he willing to go to gain more abilities? Has she learn her lesson? Is she ready to work with them now? How far is the soldier willing to go to protect his little vampire?
with them.

My love for reading started at a very young age when my mother was teaching us English, part of her classes included copying 80 lines of a book. I clearly remember copying 80 lines of Jane Eyre and not being able to stop reading it once those lines were over. I've lived my whole life in México except for four months during my college years when I studied abroad one semester for my Chemical Engineer degree in the USA. I believe that life takes us through different paths, my career helped me meet my husband, which I married 10 years ago and it helped me gain the courage to start writing, considering that at some point my job was to write procedures.
I am a mother of two wonderful children (ages 2 and 4) that make sure that I am on my toes the whole day, but after 9:00 pm my “Me” time begins. Encouraged by my husband I started writing a story that wouldn't stop circling my mind and that somehow has manage to come to life. I ask for your patience and understanding with my grammar and vocabulary, I started writing the story in Spanish but it didn't quite sound right (I read the Twilight saga in English as most of the books that I read) so after 10 pages I translated it and liked the story far better. I hope you like the story of Maya and William, I am having a great time writing it and I hope that you enjoy reading it.
